WELLNESS: BENZOYL PEROXIDE ACNE TREATMENTS
A lab has recently found benzene (a carcinogen aka cancer causing) in acne products that have benzoyl peroxide. The lab has raised this concern to the FDA and is asking for those products to be recalled, which include over-the-counter and prescription. Benzene has caused an issue in the past as well which resulted in recalling dry shampoo and dry conditioner products. Benzene is not an ingredient found in acne products, but rather a byproduct of benzoyl peroxide.

REAL ESTATE: THIS WILL CHANGE HOW AMERICANS BUY & SELL HOMES
The National Association of Realtors (NAR) reached a $418 million nationwide settlement that addresses allegations of them attempting to keep real estate agent commissions high. With this agreement, buyers will essentially be allowed to negotiate fees with their agents. The NAR is pretty much looking to get rid of the rules that dictate how buyers' agents are paid with the main goal being to enhance consumer negotiation and potentially lower commission rates. The settlement excludes HomeServices of America, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, which is looking to appeal.

💧 Liquid Death has closed their funding round and is valued at $1.4B. They’ve got canned still water (with flavored options too) and their branding is bound to spark up conversation. It almost mimics a tall can of beer and the name is enough to make someone ask questions. Their mission is simply to make people laugh and get more of them to drink more healthy beverages more often, all while helping to kill plastic pollution.

🥚 Egg prices are going up again pre-Easter! They rose more than 8% from Jan-Feb 2024. A global trade strategist says that the egg supply issues are related to the ongoing bird flu outbreak and weather-related demand.
